“To protect the land, we must first love it. If we don’t love, we cannot protect.
We only come to love the land if we allow ourselves time to connect and touch its rhythms”

A Journey of Gratitude

The Journey of Gratitude, in collaboration with filmmaker Alberto Balazs weaves a journey throughout the UK, visiting those that care and tend to the land and those that feed us.

We travelled with practices of listening and gratitude. We travelled with offerings and as we listened, stories began to emerge, stories woven between people, animals, elements and landscapes. Stories that we careful spun into a film piece and final day of gratitude at 42 acres.

The project was supported by The A Team Foundation. Marking its fifteenth year as a grant giver and investor in life giving, regenerative, agroecological food systems.

Gratitude to the many land tenders throughout the UK who we visited and to Anthony Uusher for edible offerings throughout our journey.
